This project designed by new member to the Chenevert Architects family Kirk Copeland (KCA) is a new tenant buildout of a modern ballroom. A professional dance instructor was in need of an upscale ballroom environment in order to establish a new business in Woodbridge, VA. Formally two tenant spaces were joined to form a duel ballroom buildout with a floating dance floor and glass screen between the two spaces. Quartz countertops and white marble accent the kitchen, reception and waiting area. Chandeliers and recessed LED downlights adorn a ceiling of alternating pattern directional v-groove ceiling tiles. Additional spaces include an office, consultation, storage and toilet. Full mirrored walls and draped curtains add to the elegant and expansive character of the space. A customized coffee maker and wine bar finish off this modern-day dance studio.
